XOLO Era 4K (4G-2GB RAM 8GB INTERNAL) Best Buy under 6000

Hello friends today we are going to review XOLO Era 4K, this is the best available mobile in the entry level segment and under 6000 rupees.

Quick Glance:
Rs.5999/-
5" HD IPS Display
Corning Gorila glass 3 Protection
1280 x 720 pixels resolution
2GB RAM, 8 GB Internal
32GB SD support, OTG Support
4000 mAh Battery
8MP/5MP Camera
74.29 x 151.39 x 7.38 (mm), 153 gms

Era 4K inside the BOX:
handset, quick start guide, warranty card, data cable, travel charger (5V/2A), standard quality earphone and screen guard. SAR value : 0.584 W/Kg head and 0.629 W/kg body

Look and feel:
The Xolo Era 4K runs on the MediaTek MT6735P SoC, with its four CPU cores clocked at 1GHz. It's a chip that we're used to seeing on budget devices, and is known to offer decent entry-level performance. The Xolo Era 4K is understandably plastic in terms of material quality, and feels like any other low-cost phone. Handset is comfortable to hold. Weight with battery is 153 grams and dimensions are 74.29 x 151.39 x 7.38 (mm).

Memory, Storage and OS:
The 4K comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. On first boot you will get around 3GB to 4GB free space and 1.3GB free RAM. You can set preferred install location to external SD card. OTG is supported.

Benchmark:
·         Quadrant – 8604.
·         Antutu (64 bit) – 1st time 23981.
·         Nenamark 2 – 49.9fps
·         Internal storage Speed – Read (119MB/s), Write (37MB/s)
·         Multi Touch – 2 Point.

Camera:
The Xolo Era 4K has an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera records video at up to 720p, while the one in front can record video at up to 480p. A handful of picture modes are present, including multi-angle view, live photo, motion track and panorama. There is also an HDR mode, as well as a QR scanner built into the app itself. The camera app appears a bit cluttered, but is easy to use. All functions are easy to reach, and recording video is a one-step procedure. The Settings menu gives you access to manual controls, self-timer, resolution settings and more, and interestingly, you also have the option to mute the audio while recording video, by disabling the microphone. The main screen lets you control the flash, switch cameras, toggle HDR, and choose quick-capture modes such as Smile and V-symbol. There's a lot you can do with this phone's cameras for the price, and that's a good thing.

Design:
Power and volume buttons are on the right side, audio jack and secondary mic is on the top and at the bottom there is the primary mic and micro USB port. This is a dual SIM handset – SIM slot 1 and SIM slot 2 are micro SIM slots with 4G support and there is a separate micro SD card slot. There is LED notification but the light is quite dim hard to notice. Era 4K is loaded with 3 sensors – light, accelerometer and proximity. It's available in two colours: white and blue.

Specifications and software:
Android 5.1 powers the phone, with the standard Google Now launcher. This will appeal to a lot of users, because of the simplicity and ease of use that Google's stock launcher offers. There are of course some minor changes in the settings and menus, but the system is essentially a near-stock version of Android Lollipop.

Performance:
This handset is powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with Mal T720 GPU. I did find the handset lagging occasionally, you will notice it more when multi tasking. There is no heating issue at all with this device.
 Battery:
The main attraction is the 4000 mAh non-removable battery. Battery backup is very good you can expect 7 to 11 hours of continuous moderate to heavy usage on a single charge. It can be recharged in 3 Hours approximately.

Verdict

This is powerful performer with good budget. Go for it if you want an entry level mobile with heavy battery backup.

XIAOMI MI PAD Review: The best tablet available in the market under 15000

Hello friends, today we are going to review the old XIAOMI MI PAD, yes it's old but still it's best available in the market... It's completely value for money..

Quick glance :
Rs 12999/-
2k Display
8MP rear camera
5MP front/selfie camera
Nvidia's Tegra K1 chip
6700 Mah long lasting battery
2GB Ram/16GB Memory
128GB memory card support
USB OTG supposed

Look and feel:
In terms of its overall size and dimensions, the Mi Pad has a lot in common with Apple's iPad mini . There is no mistaking one for the other though, as the Mi Pad is all glossy plastic. Xiaomi says it has used magnesium alloy in the construction of the Mi Pad, but you wouldn't know by looking at it. The shell isn't removable and so the battery is sealed in. There's a microSD card tray on the left side and the power and volume buttons are on the right. The 3.5mm headset socket is on top and the Micro-USB port is on the bottom.
There's an almost distractingly reflective Mi logo in the upper left corner, above the screen. You can see a camera cutout in the centre, but apart from those the front face looks blank. Capacitive touch buttons below the screen light up when you use them. You'll find a camera and microphone in the upper left corner of the rear, and two speaker grilles towards the bottom. Another Mi logo and some regulatory text are the only other things to be seen.

Specifications and software:
The most interesting line on the Mi Pad's spec sheet is the SoC description. This is one of the only shipping products in the world that uses Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC. Nvidia launched the Tegra K1 with much fanfare in early 2014 but it just never took off in the way that the company had hoped. Despite promising benchmark numbers and arguably superior graphics performance, phone and tablet manufacturers just did not launch a lot of Tegra-based products last year.
The Mi Pad features Nvidia's 32-bit Tegra K1, which has four cores running at 2.2GHz and a fifth low-power "companion core" that kicks in to let the main cores go to sleep when power needs to be conserved. The Tegra K1's main appeal is the fact that it leverages Nvidia's Kepler-generation graphics architecture. Not only is the hardware potent, but support for game engines is also brought over from the desktop side of things. The Tegra K1 has 192 graphics execution units and so is theoretically on par with today's most bare-basic entry-level graphics cards. Of course power, heat and other factors mean you can't really compare desktop and tablet processors side by side.
The SoC is supported by 2GB of RAM. This model has 16GB of storage, and you can add up to 128GB more using a microSD card. You get Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0, but interestingly no GPS. There is no version of this tablet with cellular data capability or voice calling.

If you had any doubt which tablets Xiaomi wants to compete with, look no further than the screen specs. The 4:3 LCD screen measures 7.9 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 1536x2048 - exactly the same as the second- and third-generation iPad minis. Not many small Android tablets use this kind of screen; 16:10 and 16:9 are much more common.
If you're interested in taking photos with your tablet, the Mi Pad has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. You can record 1080p video but there's no flash. The battery capacity is an impressive 6,700mAh.
MIUI 6 runs on top of Android 4.4.4. It looks much the same as it does on Xiaomi's most recent smartphones including the Redmi 2, and is scaled nicely for the tablet's screen size. It behaves like iOS in that there is no app drawer, and you see only app icons as soon as you unlock the device. Unlike on the phones we've seen, there is a separation of spaces for app icons and widgets - you can scroll to the left of the default homescreen to find a screen dedicated to widgets. If you fill this one up, new widget screens are created further to the left, while icons pile up on the right as you install apps.
For some reason icon-sized widgets such as settings toggles and quick contacts can only be placed on the icon screens, not the widget screens. While the end result looks clean, it is functionally confusing. We also noticed that Xiaomi's usual themes app is missing. There aren't very many built-in apps and even the ones there are seem quite functionally limited.

Performance:
Thanks to its hardware, the Mi Pad should have tremendous potential for gaming. Sure enough, we were able to crank out a very impressive average of 42fps in the GFXbench test, and 25,338 points in 3DMark's high-end Ice Storm Unlimited run - Ice Storm Extreme was maxed out. These are the highest scores we've seen on small tablets, and are especially impressive considering the high screen resolution. Needless to say, 3D games looked very good indeed.
However we do have to say that the upper rear of the Mi Pad did get hot to the point that it was uncomfortable to hold. With the device in landscape mode for gaming, the difference between what our two hands felt was highly distracting.
As far as CPU-based tasks went, AnTuTu also returned a very impressive score of 48,666 points but Quadrant did not run. The UI was generally snappy other than a few odd, intermittent slowdowns and app crashes.
Xiaomi as always offers a Balanced mode and a Performance mode, and though it prompts users to switch when it detected benchmarks running, it doesn't try to optimise results automatically. We ran all our tests in Balanced mode, which gives users a better idea of what to expect in day-to-day situations. Even so, we ran our core tests again in Performance mode just to see the difference it made. The 3DMark score went up to 27,380 but GFXbench showed no improvement.

In the synthetic benchmarks the Mi Pad was able to score some outstanding scores. Take a look:
AnTuTu - 49998
PC Mark (performance) - 5518
3D Mark Unlimited - 27216

Verdict : it's the best available tablet in the market even after months of its lunch. Only miss is "non usability of sim card"

Moto G4 Plus review, the best camera phone of its class.

Hi friends today we are going to review the latest Moto G4 Plus.
Quick glance:
powered by Snapdragon 617 octa core.
Available with 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM or 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM.
16MP/5MP camera.
Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Full HD display.
Dual 4G.
Fingerprint scanner
G4 Plus Unboxing:
Inside you will find the handset, travel charger (12V / 2.15A) with attached micro USB cable, user guide / Warranty card in Hindi / English language options and standard quality earphone (not really that good). Sar Value : Head 1.086W/kg and Body 1.48W/kg.
Design, display and OS:
G4 Plus is packed inside a plastic body with metallic finishing on the sides. Build quality and finishing is very good. Like the other
Moto G handsets this one is also using a curvy design, though the back is almost flat.
If you have used the Moto G handset before you will not get the same feel when you hold the Moto G4 Plus that’s because of the flat back, the handset however is a little wider. Weight with battery is 154 grams and dimensions are 76.63 x 152.92 x 7.96 (mm).
Power button and volume rocker is on the right side, audio jack on the top and micro USB port at the bottom. Loud Speaker and in-call speaker is on the front top.
There are dual SIM slots plus a separate micro SD card slot. You need two micro SIM’s and in case you are using a nano SIM you can make use of the nano to micro SIM adapter that is already inserted in the SIM slots.
G4 Plus sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution; screen is also protected with corning gorilla glass 3. Viewing angles are very good and so is the touch response and color reproduction.
Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 runs out of the box.
There is no LED notifications and G4 Plus is loaded with following sensors – accelerometer, proximity, light and gyro. Magnetic sensor surprisingly is missing.
Memory and Storage:
As mentioned I got this handset with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. You will get around 10GB free internal storage space and around 1.2GB free RAM on an average. Apps are getting installed on internal storage – there is no option to move to external SD. OTG is supported.
Performance:
The Moto G4 Plus is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 617 64 bit octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. Performance is smooth even when it comes to gaming, but handset heats up with heavy usage. Max battery temperature I encountered was 44 degrees.
Camera:
The handset comes with improved 16MP primary camera on the back with dual tone LED flash and 5MP camera on the front. Rear camera makes use of Laser AF and PDAF, camera quality is excellent, much better when compared with the older Moto G smartphones. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos. There is pro, panorama, slow motion, video and photo modes. There is OIS but better avoid that when shooting videos. Try using the HDR mode for excellent output.
Battery:
There is 3000 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging capabilities. The G4 Plus can charge is less than 1 hour 20 minutes and delivers 4 to 6 hours of backup with moderate to heavy usage. I got an easy over one day of battery backup with mixed usage.
Others:
Sound output is loud and clear. No issues found with 4G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. I did not find any issues with network signal and quality. There are no dedicated buttons, hence you will get onscreen navigation buttons.
The dedicated finger print sensor is on the front, it’s touch ID based – fast and accurate. Press and hold finger print sensor to unlock without pressing any other button.
